Huntsville Honda Hiring for Apprentice Technician Full Time

Huntsville Honda located in Huntsville, Ontario is currently seeking a responsible and ambitious Apprentice Technician / Shop Assistant to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Job duties will vary depending on season, however main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cataloging and managing stored tires
• Pulling and storing customer tires for seasonal change
• Snow blowing/shoveling
• Assisting technicians when required
• Assisting with shop clean up when required
• Light general maintenance duties
• Lot clean up when required
• Following all company and manufacturer policies, directives, and procedures
• Washing customer vehicles as required.
• Complying with required health and safety regulations
• Picking up and dropping off internal mail to/from other locations, bank runs, post office pickups as needed
• Sweep/tidy showroom and shop, as well as empty garbage on a schedule, where necessary and as required
• Grass cutting/weed pulling

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to do heavy lifting
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Customer relationship skills
• Team player

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in customer service industry is an asset
• Familiarity with Huntsville and area is an asset
