Huntington Learning Center of West Chester Hiring for K-8 Reading/Math/Study Skills Tutor at West Chester, OH Full Time

We work with students who (despite the best efforts of our local schools) have fallen behind and are struggling in school. We help these students catch up and become confident and motivated students. Because so many families need our help, there are immediate openings at our West Chester and Cincinnati (Harper’s Point) locations.

This is a great opportunity for current teachers, new teachers, retired teachers, and teachers who have stepped away from the classroom but still have a passion for helping students.

We offer paid training. We provide time-tested and highly effective curriculum and lesson plans. You work with students 1:1 or 3:1. You teach, we meet with and discuss progress with parents. Most importantly – You change the lives of students and families in our community!

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree

Experience in the education field as a classroom teacher or student teacher

Teaching certificate is a plus

Reading/reading comprehension experience is a plus

Passion for helping school-aged children

Professional demeanor

Evening and weekend availability

Ability to work in a team environment

Must be able to commute to our West Chester center, located at 7906 Tylersville Square Drive, West Chester, OH, or our Harper’s Point center, located at 11385 Montgomery Rd, Suite 220, Cincinnati, OH 45249
