We are looking for a fully remote part-time instructional designer to join our Training Team.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilizes instructional design and performance improvement processes to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate instructional materials and programs
Works with internal subject matter experts in Operations, Marketing, IT, and Corporate functions to design, develop, and implement training solutions that drive performance and are consistent with internal standards and best practices
Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient in software and programs such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Vyond, and HTML a plus
Ability to apply adult learning principles to instructional design and development methodologies
Ability and desire to learn multiple systems and processes quickly
Ability to build and manage multiple partnerships and relationships at all levels of the organization
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are needed to communicate with partners and learners
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under time pressure
Skillful with editing videos, graphics, and images
LMS (e.g., SilkRoad Learning) administration experience including eLearning publishing and learning assessments
An eye for visual design and knack for creating great user experiences
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field from an accredited college or university
3 years in instructional design/development or degree in instructional design required
Huntington experience a plus, though not required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Fully remote position
