PROJECT ENGINEER

Owing to a fantastic order book and growth within their business, a thriving manufacturing company are looking for an experience Project Engineer who has a background within FMCG Manufacturing environments!

This role involves the delivery of Engineering projects through concept, design, installation, and commissioning across their UK sites.

Role Description
*Identify with site Engineering Managers and Plant Managers new requirements or opportunities for improvements in reliability or efficiency within the infrastructure. Including compressed air, cooling, material handling, LV and HV Equipment, civils, production line machinery.
*Create initial project designs to company standards for CAPEX submission.
*Tender project work to suppliers to achieve budget and quality expectations.
*Daily management of contractors on site, CDM regs, review of RAMS, issuing of PTW. Monitoring of works to meet budget and deadline.
*Overseeing commissioning and hand over of projects to the plant.
*Implementation and management of maintenance contracts for assets.
*Supporting the management of ISO 50001 and the business Energy management system.
*Providing onsite support to plants with specific infrastructure issues and emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications
*Project Engineering / Management experience – 5+ Years.
*Strong experience within Fast Paced Manufacturing environments.
*Level 3+ within an engineering discipline.
*Highly organised and able to liaise / communicate with multiple stakeholders.
