Finance Manager
The Infrastructure, Planning & Sustainability portfolio is responsible for managing and delivering Clinical Planning, Capital Works, Engineering and Maintenance and Sustainability for HNELHD. Currently the team are commencing major works for the John Hunter Hospital Innovation Precinct as well as numerous other capital works projects across the District.
Within this pivotal role you will be the finance lead for HNELHD’s Infrastructure Projects as well as managing the Infrastructure and Planning Portfolio. You will provide high quality professional advice which supports strategic and operational decision making ensuring that issues impacting financial performance are identified and a collaborative approach is taken to ensure optimum financial performance. In addition you will identify areas of financial risk, growth opportunities and savings to maximise revenue and improve business practices.
You will bring your previous experience as a Finance Manager, high attention to detail and your ability to work under pressure and whilst prioritising competing demands. In addition your proven experience in improving business performance in a large complex organisation is key to your success.
You will be supported by the Manager of Management Accounting along with the current Finance Manager of the Infrastructure, Planning & Sustainability and will be provided with training and opportunity for continued professional development.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
