Manning Base Hospital
Located 3.5 hours north of Sydney, Taree is nestled in the Manning Valley and situated on the Manning River. With a slower lifestyle and plenty of cafes and water recreation activities, Taree is home to 27,000 residents and the Manning Hospital. Manning Maternity provides antenatal, intrapartum and post-natal care to women and their families in the area.
About the role:
Working under the supervision, guidance and direction of the Registered Midwife, the AIMs will provide individualised excellent midwifery care by contributing to and supporting the wider maternity care team to maximise the health outcomes for the women and babies within the health service environments. The successful candidates will be working with and supported by Registered Midwives and Clinical Midwifery Educators. Education and training will be provided in the ward.
About you:
We are seeking hardworking and eager Assistants in Midwifery who are able to work confidently in a multidisciplinary team and have a strong commitment to the women-centred maternity care and Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI). You will also have great communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received two doses by 30 November 2021 or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
