Hunter AHP & Mental Health Hiring for Locum Histology BMS – Plymouth – Band at Full Time

Hunter Gatherer AHP has a fantastic oppurtunity for an experienced Biomedical Scientist in a large hospital based in Plymouth. This role requires at least 1-3 years’ UK experience working within Histology. This is a full-time post which requires evening and weekend work. 

• Full time role 
• Monday – Sunday, 37.5 hours
• Evening/Weekend work required
• Duties include embedding, performing special stains, section cutting using microtome 
• Cutting 35 – 40 blocks per hour
• ASAP start ideal 
• Rates between £24 – 26 PH DOE 
• 6 month contract initially with likelihood to extend

About the Individual:

• Current HCPC Registration 
• IBMS Accredited Degree 
• Experience working within a Histology laboratory 
• Must be able to cut 35 – 40 blocks per hour
• At least 6 months UK experience
