About the position

Our Sydney office is seeking to recruit a Full Time Senior Administration Assistant to manage a busy practice with efficient and effective support to the Partners and Lawyers within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group.

KEY JOB ROLES:

• General amendments and copy typing
• Opening new files
• Preparing of end of month billing for both private and government clients
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly government client reporting
• Filing and archiving
• Organising documents to be filed in the Local, District, Supreme and Federal Courts
• Answering phones and taking messages
• Photocopying of documents for court, briefs for counsel & other tasks
• Preparation of matters for hearings
• Organising Partners and Lawyers schedules
• General administration duties in both a legal and personal assistant capacity
• Preparing documents
• Deliveries of documents out of the office and document lodging with court registry
• Organising travel arrangements
• Diary management
• Online court filing & document management

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Three years’ minimum previous legal work experience in a law firm within Litigation
• Must have experience using Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience using a document management system (iManage/Filesite)
• Experience using Justicelink and Elodgement
• Experience using precedents templates/documents
• Experience using an accounting system (Aderant)
