• You’re an experienced Digital Designer with a known knack for branding (honestly, what’s more satisfying than a beautiful brand you helped implement?)

• You are excited by the opportunity to work across a range of client projects, across various industries
• From rebrands through to new websites, you have the drive to take ownership of your accounts and lead on omnichannel projects

The Role:

On a day to day basis you’ll be working across the following pillars:

• Design Leadership: As a Senior Digital Designer you will have the opportunity to drive excellence and creativity at IONYX. From driving a culture of design excellence to up-skilling more junior designers, this is an opportunity for your passion for design to be woven through the team and company.
• Website Design: Creating visually engaging and user-centric website designs for clients across various industries, particularly across more complex web design projects.
• UX/UI Projects: Leading the design of user interfaces and experiences that prioritise user needs and business objectives. Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma to guide the development of intuitive and visually appealing digital products.
• Logo and Brand Guidelines: Crafting unique and memorable logos that capture the essence of clients’ brands. Developing comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual identity across all touch points.
• Collaboration with Development Team: Working closely with the development team to align on project scope, technical requirements, and design implementation by working in collaboration with the Development team.
• Client Discovery Sessions: Conducting interview and discovery sessions with newly onboarded clients to understand their design needs, objectives, and brand vision. Translating insights into compelling design solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Performing thorough quality assurance checks on projects created by junior designers, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring the final deliverables meet the highest design standards.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assessing and refining design processes to enhance efficiency, creativity, and collaboration within the design team. Identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining. Leveraging platforms like SharePoint to facilitate smooth collaboration and document sharing.
• Internal Brand Ownership: Taking ownership of design projects for the internal brands, including JMS, F2W, Vela Digital, IONYX, and LSP. Ensuring consistent and cohesive visual representation across these brands.

Experience:

• 10 years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects
• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools to demonstrate your design approach and vision, applying Design Thinking techniques, especially workshop facilitation to guide scope and ideation
• Strong stakeholder management skills to take them along the journey and balance business/tech/customer needs
• Experience with Information Architecture and designing for navigation systems
• Work with design systems and producing visual design and screen layouts
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to work in and with other distributed teams
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
