Hume City Council is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and engaging Early Childhood Education Assistant to support the Preschool Program. The successful candidate will be passionate about the early years space, supporting professional growth and contemporary service delivery.

In this role, you will support the Early Childhood Teacher in developing, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality educational program. Your responsibilities will include documenting of children’s learning and development and working with children and families to ensure a positive program experience.

You will ensure the delivery of responsive, innovative, and high-quality services. You will guide the pedagogy and educational program at this service and identify and act on opportunities to support growth, learning and the embedding of contemporary practice. You will draw on your skills in leading an efficient and smooth operation. You will work in collaboration with and support from the Program Supervisor to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to service delivery.
