Humans of Agriculture Hiring for Marketing & Content Specialist at Geelong, Victoria, Australia Full Time

Hey, it’s Oli here, the founder of HOA – let’s get into it…

We’re a storytelling brand that’s on a mission to shift the stigma around agriculture and create a community from Farm to Fork and Beyond!

Today, we’re creating 2 x weekly podcasts, regular video segments and written content as well. We work in partnership with organisations to learn more about agriculture today and we also provide custom content for organisations who are looking to use our storytelling skills to share what they’re up to.

We’re curious people that are keen to understand what’s the influence of agriculture today and how it will look into the future. We love sitting down with ExtraOrdinary people and uncovering their stories and sharing the human side of such an important part of the world we live in!

The Role – Marketing and Content Specialist

In full transparency, Oli has been doing all the marketing to date and he’s a little bit short on time. We have our strategy, we have bucketloads of content, and we need someone to come in and execute it.

Key Priorities:

1. Get our social media scheduling, planning and execution in order
2. Support in developing clear marketing collateral e.g. presentations, podcast tiles, media kits etc
3. Get our website content in order
4. Support in the delivery of our varied projects

What you’ll be doing:

• Website content management including homepage, category pages, landing pages, promotional flags, navigation, and other on-site content.
• Managing social media accounts, across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• SEO & improving the organic ranking by using Google Search Console and Keyword Planner.
• Support in the development of marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, media kits etc.
• Develop content for social media including reels, photos and podcast snippets
• Manage EDM and newsletter Campaigns.
• Support in the delivery of project materials including basic graphic work via Canva.

About you:

💻: Experience in Social Media and digital marketing

🔧: You’ll be a problem solver who can troubleshoot issues on the go

🔍: Have impeccable attention to detail – you’ll be working in a small team & will need to back yourself

🤔: Ability to critically analyse – What’s Working Well, What Could Be Better, How do we get there…

🦎(chameleon): Ability to be Adaptive to a changing environment

Looking for someone for approx. 15-25 hours a week. For us, the most important part is finding the right person.

📍 Can be located anywhere – however if you’re around Geelong/Melbourne area we’d love to have you in our office in North Geelong!
