Job Description
The Early Careers Talent Manager will lead and manage the end-to-end experience (excluding talent attraction) for our early careers colleagues by creating and delivering innovative, inclusive and equitable talent development experiences that enhance capability and performance. They will lead and/ or contribute to the annual planning and review of the early career programs, work closely with a broad range of HR and business stakeholders to align, influence and adapt the strategy with centrally led initiatives, develop new career pathways, promote offerings and implement performance metrics that measurably impact program quality. The role is based in Amsterdam ideally, however we can consider candidates to be based in London or Manchester as well.
Responsibilities
- Lead the early careers talent management strategy that includes (but not limited to) post-offer talent engagement, onboarding, cohort based curriculum building, rotation models, learning programs, mentorship programs, community building, manager readiness and other talent initiatives to accelerate growth of our early talent
- Design the suite of early career programs to meet business needs: Tech graduate programs, Internships, UK Apprenticeships
- Lead one team member (Specialist), grow the team over the next 2-3 years as the early careers program scale
- Scale and evolve the programs and/or add new programs, as needed based on business demand (such as MBA or equivalent)
- Align with key stakeholders and stay close to industry trends. Audit and review processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Develop a systematic way to track the health of our early talent pipelines, ensure we are developing our talent for the short, medium and long term needs of our business
- Partner with people analytics to develop a framework that measures the impact of various early career interventions and continuously monitor the performance, engagement and retention of our early talent community
- Build and maintain relationships with other COEs including talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, people strategy, learning, analytics & research teams
- Partner with our diversity and inclusion team to track the diversity of our early careers talent pools and identify any necessary interventions
Experience
- You have solid experience in developing early careers talent programs or related field
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Combination of thought leadership in early careers space and execution excellence
- Ability to influence to scale programs globally
- Operate effectively in an ambiguous environment, and must have experience managing and driving multiple concurrent projects to successful completion.
- A genuine passion for the experience of early career talent and scale programs globally, year on year
