Hudson’s Bay Company Hiring for The Bay | QA Data Analyst (12 Month Contract) at Toronto, Ontario Full Time

Day in the Life:

In this newly created role, the QA Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the digital teams in identifying and troubleshooting issues, designing and executing audit tests, identifying defects and generating data reports to support site audits and troubleshooting.                                       

What You Will Do: 

• Designing and executing audit tests of Navigation, Refinement, Attributes on Staging and Production Site.
• Identifying, analyzing, and accurately documenting issues, questionable functionality, and inconsistencies related to UX and functionality of thebay.com and labaie.com
• Audit in different environments, including all browsers, and Android and iOS. 
• Develop use cases, audit plans, testing strategies. 
• Conduct manual and automation testing. 
• Communicate with internal partners to be able to understand issues and designs. 
• Collaborate with lifecycle and Merchandising teams to understand product assortment and refinement. requirements and ensure they’re implemented correctly. 
• Research and react to customer feedback from multiple channels.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve. 
• Able to investigate issues to find the root cause of a defect. 
• Able to prioritize bugs and work to meet the needs of the business. 
• Develop SQL queries to research, analyze, and troubleshoot data. Extract relevant and useful data from a large datasets to create business reports.
• Discover and document gaps between desired process and current processes.

What You Will Need:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Business Administration, Data Analytics, Mathematics)
• A keen eye for detail in identifying and documenting website related issues
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Have a user mindset and strongly advocate for the best user experiences
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Effective communication and strong collaboration skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Previous experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is preferred 
• Previous experience with Magento or Shopify is a plus
