Day in the Life:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for offering administrative and logistical studio and production support. This role would be ideal for someone with experience in a quick moving production environment (stills & motion), a strong work ethic and exceptional interpersonal skills with. This position will help in growing production processes, as well as maintaining and building on efficiencies. They will work directly with the production team to assist in a variety of duties to ensure a shoot’s success from beginning to end.
This role is responsible for:
Assists and supports production team (resourcing freelancers & creative teams, compiling call sheets, prepro decks etc)
Studio management tasks (ordering supplies as needed, preparing reports, tracking and reconciling expenses and day-to-day communication between teams)
Works with key stakeholders and external facilitators to ensure coordination, scheduling, and administrative details of productions are completed in an effective and efficient manner
Arrives prior to the crew (studio or on location), assists in pre-production, onset and post-production
Tracking and wrapping of expenses including reconciling month-end studio finances
Research & maintain freelancer lists and current information for artists (portfolios, rates); vendor creation and tracking
Creates, updates and communicates production calendars including prepro meetings, style outs, shoot dates etc
Builds pitch decks and assists in presentation preparation (scheduling, materials, logistics, catering)
Supports management and transfer of files including naming conventions, approval process and archiving

3+ years of previous experience in a studio and/or production setting
Exceptional organizational skills and a strong ability to multi-task and work with shifts in priorities as they arise
Strong communication skills, written & verbal
Understand the importance of relationship management, and collaborate with different personalities and dynamics
Team focused with self-confidence and and personal motivation; proactive and takes the initiative
Ability to respond positively and act thoroughly with a sense of urgency to multiple tasks and concurrent deadlines
Must be able to adapt and react to constantly changing details and priorities, and shift focus as needed
Ability to give and receive clear communication, and work with instructions from others to take action
Knowledge and interest in staying up-to-date with current production processes and trends
Highly competent with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
