Hudson’s Bay Company Hiring for Analyst, Parcel at Etobicoke, Ontario Full Time

Day in the Life:

The Analyst of Parcel Logistics is responsible for supporting the timely delivery of our products to our eCommerce customers. The team is responsible for managing a network of carriers that service the transportation of goods from our eCommerce distribution centers, stores, micro fulfillment centers and direct from vendors to our customers. The volume, spend and competition in this area has been growing at a rapid pace and the landscape for how packages are delivered to end customers is continuously changing. This role will a key player in developing dashboards and reports, supporting strategic projects, and responding to operational challenges.

What You Will Do:

• Develop reporting and data visualization tools to present actionable business insights
• Support on strategic projects (customer experience, sustainability, tech enhancements) with potential to lead projects
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate operational risks
• Be a subject matter expert in terms of shipping nuances and trends
• Support for contract procurement, renewals and negotiations with responsibility of knowing terms, customer needs and market pricing for services
• Cross-functional planning for package deliveries to our customers
• Grow HBC’s marketplace shipping & fulfillment offering to deliver best-in-class service

What You Will Need:

• Four year degree preferably within supply chain or business focus
• 1-2+ years of supply chain / logistics experience
• Strong data analytics skills, including experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) and manual reporting tools
• Ability to work in an ambiguous and changing eCommerce environment
• The desire to invest in best-in class processes and systems to maximize business results
