The Role

Hudson are recruiting for a skilled Finance Officer to undertake a variety of day-to-day accounting support tasks. You will be an integral part of the team by ensuring that the Bank Reconciliations process is managed daily. There are daily reports required, data entry, Journal entries and BAS reporting to support the office operations run smoothly.

You will become part of the Finance team of 6, working under the mentoring of the Group Finance Manager successful in supporting other business activities.

You will join an organisation which requires your existing Accounting skillset to support the company’s stable development.

Your duties will include:

• Month end and year reporting (monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations)
• Preparation of Statutory Returns. (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax)
• Bank Reconciliations
• Maintenance of Fix Asset Register
• Preparation of General Journals for sign off
• Intercompany invoicing and reconciling
• Data entry
• Accounts Receivable/Payable support
• Daily Sales and Weekly Financial Reports preparation
• Answering phones and greeting customers
• General project work

Requirements

An excellent Finance Officer, you will be able to demonstrate your ability as an organized and competent professional with excellent communication skills.

You will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Finance Officer in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Accounting principles through practical experience
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, the Excel program from intermediate level to advanced and accounting software SAGE would be highly desirable
• Professional presentation and a proactive working manner
