Hudson Australia Hiring for Software Engineer Job at Melbourne Full Time

We are seeking a Software Engineer for a 6 month contract. The role primarily focuses on developing UI Components and writing code in html/css and TypeScript using Angular to implement user stories and collaborating with the broader organisation. Writing code in .Net (C#), Python and SQL in the Microsoft Azure environment, working as part of a team and autonomously to implement system functionality across the full application technology stack including testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this engagement are primarily:

• To develop new user-facing features and improve existing applications, taking into account robustness, scalability, maintainability and performance
• To build reusable components and libraries for future use
• To collaborate with developers on API requirements and with designers and analysts to ensure feasibility of UI/UX designs
• To design, build and use DevOps processes in FFRG Azure cloud infrastructure, including the use of deployment and test automation to manage software releases
• To perform full-stack software development including database, API and front-end web development according to FFRG architectural and coding standards including appropriate testing
• To present ideas for system improvements in line with strategic roadmap
• To use a document-as-you-go approach to ensuring key features/functionality are captured in a shared knowledge base
• To collaborate with the broader organisation around bugs, enhancements, and opportunities
• To practice cultural safety by creating environments, relationships, and systems free from racism and discrimination so that people can feel safe, valued and able to participate
