Our Federal Government Client is looking for an experienced Software Developer working with the latest Microsoft Technologies. The team you will be working with are a small group of highly skilled developers, working with a range of technologies such as .Net Framework, .Net Core and Azure. You will also have experience with React, Web APIs and Web Services, RESTful APIs/WCF. Being able to work in a tight knit unit, creating strong working relationships with your team and building trust with stakeholders is essential. Your focus will remain within the Project Team, however you will also be supporting and delivering a range of new and current projects. You will be reporting directly to the Tech Lead who also works in the Canberra office. The work you do with our client will make a difference and assist in the safety of others!

Essential Criteria

• Have a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud-based services such as Azure Service Bus, Microsoft Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory (AAD)
• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex large-scale applications and web services using Microsoft technology stacks including .Net Framework, .NET Core and frontend frameworks such as React
• Strong knowledge and experience with Web APIs – Web Services SOAP & RESTful and /or WCF
• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong working relationships and trust with stakeholders

Desirable criteria

• Industry certification or current study towards certification in a relevant ICT field
