Operating across WA and the east coast, you will be responsible for continuing to build out the HR function in here in WA, partnering with the leaders and employees and providing them with specialist HR advice, information and knowledge including performance management, employee/industrial relations, workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, conflict resolution, performance assessments & development planning, training, and engagement and culture.

With plans in place for expansion and new investments, you’ll also enjoy getting involved in various HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and systems implementations. It’s an exciting time to get on board and you’ll be joining a busy but supportive HR team, lead by the HR Director.

It’ll be hands on with an operational focus in the start but the opportunities open up for this role to move into the strategy piece later.

Ideally you’ll have extensive experience in industrial relations, particularly performance management, and with multiple EBAs up for negotiation soon it’s important you’ve got prior experience in this regard too.

This role would equally suit an experienced HR Business Partner or an Senior HR Advisor where there may be a few gaps but the motivation is there to learn and grow into the role.

A few specifics you’ll need;

• Degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Demonstrated and relevant experience in a HR generalist role for 4+ years
• Working knowledge of the FairWork Act and WA employment legislation
• Experience as a true collaborator, stakeholder engagement is key for this role

Your new work home will be located close to the CBD, but you won’t find yourself sitting at your desk all day. This is very much a partnering role so you’ll find yourself out in the business, visiting the various locations providing full HR support to each business unit.
