Join our dynamic HUB24 Technology Product team! We are currently seeking a talented individual who is passionate about working with big data and client-facing responsibilities. As part of the “Onboarding” function of HUBconnect Licensee, you will have the opportunity to engage with external financial institutions to understand their data storage, format, and needs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product, Clients and technical teams engaging with external financial institutions to understand their data storage, format and needs as part of the “Onboarding” function of HUBconnect products
• Analyse and understand data (internal and external), determine patterns in data and (as required) create data visualisations.
• Determine mechanisms for ingesting and transforming their structured and unstructured data into HUBconnect
• Assist in the design of flexible data models and minimise repetition of data and development
• Work to become a SME for the HUBconnect data stores and the Licensee product and assist to determine the roadmap and direction of the ongoing development
• Work closely with technical and business teams to evaluate and implement fit for purpose toolsets and technologies.
• Provide support and training for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage change requests with clients, internal and external.
• Engage with Product Managers, End Users and Subject Matter Experts to identify, develop, document, validate and gain endorsement for the requirements for upcoming Epics and Features
• Work with Product and Technical staff as needed and materialising findings into technical stories with associated acceptance criteria
• Be an advocate for the Product Manager and the End Customer.
• Anticipate and remove any blockers/impediments to the delivery of work outcomes. Work to optimise the flow of work to ‘Done’.
• Highlight project risks, including risks to delivery time and budget to technical and product management at the earliest opportunity.
• Liaise with staff, supervisors, and senior IT management as well as internal and external clients.
• Contribute to the continual improvement of the Data Analysis Approach

Requirements

• Relevant experience and/or education/training in data analysis skills and competencies including an understanding of ETL, modelling, data mapping and querying data
• Strong experience in SQL and experience in at least one of statistical programming language (i.e. Python)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated functional and conceptual understanding of technical matters, as well as the proven ability to quickly learn new business domains and technical applications.
• Experience with Databricks or similar technologies and data warehousing would be highly regarded
• Knowledge of the Financial Services domain including portfolio accounting and ing, market data, the investment universe and the financial advice process is highly desirable
