The Manager, Talent Acquisition leads a team to leverage innovative and aggressive strategies to attract, engage, evaluate, and build a talent pipeline for one or more of our business functions. Works as a “player/coach”, leading direct reports while managing a number of requisitions directly and creating an exceptional candidate and client experience.
Major Responsibilities
Manages talent acquisition activities across one or more business functions in the US and Canada. This includes managing external vendors who support the talent acquisition process.
Ability to design talent acquisition approaches to secure the high caliber talent for Hub, including appropriately aligning requisitions with the appropriate team members, ensuring the leveraging of individual skills and strengths as well as ensuring appropriate distribution of work volume.
Coach and develop direct reports in relationship building strategies and recruiting process excellence.
Lead and engage in talent conversations with leaders of all levels and assist them in developing plans to secure talent for their open positions.
Experience managing external partners in the talent acquisition process.
Participate and or lead in the identification of areas of improvement and help to implement change.
Collaborate with internal HR partners in developing best in class approaches to attract, interview, and hire.
Develop competitive compensation offers based on current employee data and market trends. Advise business partners on the best comp structure to secure talent.
Must be an excellent team player with strong rapport skills, ability to style shift with various personality styles.
Experience in using and understanding talent acquisition metrics and data to assess performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (or equivalent), and at least 3 years leadership experience in Staffing/Talent Acquisition, and least 5-7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
Must be able to demonstrate the following competencies: high level of energy and commitment to accomplishing results; excellent leadership and project management.
Strong interpersonal communications and organizationally savvy. Has the ability to build strong teams.
Considered a talent advisor and expert in talent acquisition. Has a desire to pass along knowledge to others.
Must have an absolute commitment to EEO/AA and Hub’s code of ethics. Must understand the principles of DEI and how to implement into the full life cycle of Talent Acquisition activities.
Is an expert in sourcing candidates, in defining requisite competencies, in interviewing skills, and using other screening resources, in developing rapport with candidates and presenting a positive picture of available positions.
Ability to train, influence and coach hiring managers & teams to improve the selection process.
Must be able to negotiate and close with job candidates, including executive candidates.
