HSB Technical Looking for Junior Project Engineer – Civil Engineering at Gravesend Full Time

HSB Technical have a new opening for a Junior level Project Engineer to work within an in-house Civil Engineering Division.
In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to learn and develop hands-on – across ground works, Marine & Civil structures, Piling, utilities & drainage, and Commercial Building works.

Key duties and responsibilities under the Guidance of the Civil Engineering Manager:
– Planning and execution of projects
– Carry out structural surveys and inspections of existing infrastructure
– Manage appropriate planning and building control applications
– preparation of tender documentation and manage the tender process for external contractors / suppliers

Ideal candidate specification: 
– Degree in Civil Engineering – ICE accreditation desired, but not essential
– Anyone working towards chartered or incorporated Engineer status would be advantageous
– Current work experience as a Project, Civil or Site Engineer with a main / sub contractor or similar environment
– An excellent communicator, confident, keen to learn, and professional
– You will have appropriate knowledge of building and civil engineering construction methods, techniques, and planning applications.
– Prioritise safety, and work in a quality driven and efficient manner
