We are partnering with our fantastic, team-oriented client, LION Group, to recruit an experienced Logistics Coordinator for their distribution operations in Haxel Green, KY. The ideal candidate is a proven order operations and detail orientated professional.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for expediting assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished during document delivery, efficient coordination, and on-time delivery.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates product deliveries with Order Management, Post Pick, Planning, and Distribution to fill overall customer demand, shortages, and priority shipments.
• Adjusts Available To Promise (ATP) dates with material and capacity constraints.
• Manages Oracle system data that affects the schedule and the order promising functionality.
• Maintains Production Dispatch for assigned areas.
• Partners with Production Supervisors to adjust or expedite work orders.
• Assists driving the organization to the desired Order to Promise (OTP) KPI.
• Leads (or participates in) weekly production meeting with Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service.
• Maintains and adjusts Oracle Available to Promise, Scheduling, and Reservation processes.
• Coordinates with schedule with functional leads.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Communicates potential material shortages to Purchasing.
• Assists with continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinates transfer of work between facilities as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associates’ degree required or five years’ experience.
• Three to five years Oracle E-Business Suite manufacturing experience preferred.
• Three to five years’ experience in scheduling a production environment.
• Must possess intermediate reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task, take iniative, and make sound decisions within the job scope.
• Detail oriented.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting, carrying, and bending up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.
• Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 30 lbs.
• Operating traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, fax machines and telephones.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
