JOB PURPOSE
Provide Human Resource services to all Speakerbus companies and geographical regions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILTIES
Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy.
Design and work across HR projects.
Maintain and review the Company Handbook.
Develop and maintain HR policies and provide ER guidance to managers.
Standardise contracts of employment, keeping within the law, and ensuring new contracts are issued according to latest employment law.
Responsibility for recruitment, including equal opportunities and general recruitment monitoring.
Monitor job offers, references, etc.
Develop starter and leaver procedures.
Conduct and report on exit interviews, including attrition recording and analysis.
Responsibility for employee performance management including implementation and management of a performance appraisal system.
Monitor employee engagement levels.
Responsibility for management of salary reviews and benchmarking where necessary. Work with Head of Finance on bonus/commission plans.
Responsibility for employee benefits package.
Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including discipline and grievance procedures.
Management of internal restructures including redundancies.
Keep up to date with and apply UK employment legislation.
To work to the Company’s quality standards and performance criteria.
Comply with the Company’s Information Security policy at all times.
Co-operate on matters of Health & Safety and follow the training provided. Take reasonable care of personal and other people’s health and safety at all times.
Any other duties consistent with the role as may be required from time to time.

Referees and other external contacts.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualified CIPD member.
Proven experience in HR management in a standalone capacity.
Educated to degree level or similar.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level.
Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
Experience of recruitment and interviews at a senior level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience.
Attention to detail essential.
