HR Recruit Hiring for Senior HR Advisor at Knowsley Full Time

A leading charity in Knowsley, Merseyside is looking for recruit an experienced Senior HR Advisor for a stand alone hybrid role to join a friendly and supportive team. Managing 1 direct report this role will report into the CEO. The purpose of the role is provide the organisation’s line managers and employees with a full range of HR advice and support to promote full engagement and ensure that HR tools and processes reflect current best practice and are adhered to.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Contribute to people strategy, building employer brand awareness, and supporting line managers to promote full engagement and motivation at work
• Provide the HR administrator with leadership and support required to ensure effective and compliant delivery of their objectives in line with agreed standards, processes and procedures
• Ensure the Charity is fully compliant with all relevant employment legislation, and that policies and procedures reflect best practice and are adhered to.
• Provide appropriate HR advice and guidance to managers across the organisation in relation to employment law, and implementing charity policies and procedures including recruitment, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance and absence management.
• Coach and guide managers to enable them to tackle organisational and employee issues including departmental restructures, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
• Ensure that Payroll are provided with accurate information for salary payments and that employee benefits are effectively administered
• Work with line managers to ensure that key HR processes are well managed across the organisation, including recruitment campaigns, performance management, and training and development plans
• Ensure that HR Records and documentation are up to date and accurate, and that they are fully compliant with GDPR requirements
• Produce and present timely and accurate HR trends and statistical reports for the SMT recommending areas for further action as required.

Person Specification

• Experience of working within a broad HR role
• Experience of good recruitment practice and end to end recruitment processes
• Some experience of change management processes
• Experience of producing people reports and analysing data.
• IT literate, intermediate level of using all Windows Microsoft packages and Databases, specifically Excel
• Excellent organisational skills manage a varied workload, prioritise and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to develop strong working relationships with line managers, establishing self as a ‘trusted HR Advisor’
• Able to advise and challenge managers regarding HR best practice and organisational policies and procedures
• Able to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative
• Full driving licence and car owner with some travel around the north west

There is the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week. In return you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£38,000 (depending on experience).
