HR Recruit Hiring for HR Manager (Full or Part-Time) at Sevenoaks Full Time

£50,000-£55,000 (FTE) Plus car or Car Allowance

Our client, an SME in the professional services sector in Sevenoaks is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager for a newly created role for 12 months (possibly permanent).

The client will consider candidates looking for full or part-time hours and there is the opportunity for hybrid working. The business is going through a transition and so they are looking for a HR professional who has previous operational HR experience as well as TUPE, redundancy and pay benchmarking. The focus of this role will be to deliver people management strategies in support of the organisation’s The role will have both a strategic and an operational focus, will be hands on.

HR Manager Responsibilities:

• Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy
• Design and work across HR projects
• Conduct transformation responsibilities such as TUPE and redundancies
• Conduct pay benchmarking exercise
• Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters
• Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
• Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
• Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
• Ensure employee relation cases are managed to meet best practice requirements
• Develop and maintain HR policies
• Monitor and develop performance appraisal systems
• Monitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team
• Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up-to-date
• Develop starter and leaver procedures
• Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation’s competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits package.

Person Specification

• Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level
• Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
• Ability to work autonomously
• Hands on with a can-do attitude

In return you will receive a salary of between £50,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). The salary will be pro-rated for reduced hours. There is also a car allowance, fuel card and private healthcare.
