Client Support Specialist- Des Plaines, IL

$23-$24/Hour (Plus health benefits, dental, vision, 401k and PTO)

We are urgently seeking a Client Support Specialist who will be able to provide top notch customer service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for customer orders, answering questions regarding billing, order discrepancies and general customer inquiries. We are looking for someone who can project a professional company image through phone and email interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and resolving any issues or concerns.
• Process and enter customer orders accurately into our system, ensuring timely delivery and shipment.
• Collaborate with various internal departments, including production, logistics, and sales, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment updates, and any delays or changes.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and the goal of achieving customer satisfaction.
• Always monitor inventory levels and forecast what your customers will be needing in the coming months.
• Provide product recommendations and cross-selling opportunities to customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer records, ensuring all interactions and transactions are properly documented.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred; recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
