You will be able to be compensated for what you produce, as well as by introducing us to new clients and chefs! Chefs in the Kitchen will be your own business and you will be autonomous in your day to day activities-from menu planning, to hours worked while being a part of a team!

Under the direction of the Head Chef you will be responsible for bringing a culinary experience to the homes of our clients. In this unique opportunity you will ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and the preparation of meals utilizing your eclectic and diverse experience. There is variety with what you will do: from pre-determined menus, to creative experimentation, ensuring the food quality and presentation meets fine dining standards. You will be able to be autonomous with your work, but will be able to work with others to bring clients a tasty dish!

How do I qualify?

You must have:

• A passion for food!
• Ability to sell yourself and your skills as a Chef
• Food Safe Certificate
• Have a driver licence and a car.
• Have a passion for entertaining and talking about your cuisine with the guest.
• An in depth knowledge of the culinary delights from around the world!

As a note we will be asking you to cook a meal for a group as an assessment

What we are looking for:

• Strong service orientation with demonstrated knowledge of all types of formal Dining Room service
• Excellent communication skills; team player skilled with motivating and coaching others
• Proven leadership abilities; approachable and diplomatic decision making style
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Detail oriented, with good organizational abilities
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and respond with a sense of urgency when required

Pay is based on skill and knowledge level, ranging from $35-$46 per hour

Hours are flexible, and based on availability
