Our client has grown to be one of the UK’s largest suppliers of building and construction reinforcement solutions for the forming, fixing, connecting and reinforcing of concrete into the Construction & Civil’s industry. The Role

This is a fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires an individual of an ambitious nature. RC/CAD Detailer acts as the first point of contact with the customer in relation to technical queries purporting to drawings, portraying a professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service. Applicants will follow established drafting standards and principles to prepare reinforcement layouts and drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and associated peripheral equipment and software. The responsibility of the role is to produce all steel schedules for pre-fabricated steel cages & product codes associated for all drawings and combine details from sketches, drawings, and blueprints to make required calculations. Applicants must be able to interpret data, instructions, and specifications to prepare accurate drawings.

The Candidate

Suitable applicants must be able to show strong CAD and RC Detailing experience with attention to detail skills and be motivated to succeed within this industry and progress. Applicants ideally must be degree qualified or equivalent, ideally in the Civil, Construction, Structural or Steel industry presently. Accuracy and the ability to interpret data as well as strong problem solving abilities. Applicants must be proficient in the use of 2D/3D AutoCAD and have strong communication skills. Applicants must be able to demonstrate high levels of drive and enthusiasm. This role requires an applicant who is both comfortable technically but is able to work well within a team to support several departments.

Basic Salary £30K + Full company benefits
