Job Description

Points is looking for an HR Generalist to join Human Resources our team for a full-time role.

We’re an industry-leading organization that is continuously reshaping how consumers interact with their loyalty programs. We work with the world’s largest airline, hotel, financial, and retail rewards programs, to tackle complex challenges and come up with innovative e-commerce solutions. We are looking for an HR Generalist that will help us support a global employee base. Your proactive approach and ability to prioritize will also be essential to your success as you play an integral role on behalf of our company to provide outstanding HR support to our Points employees

You will be responsible for the following:

• Administering employee leaves (Mat Leaves & Top Up, Pat Leaves, Family/ Compassionate Care, Leave of Absence).
• Supporting and maintaining our compensation program including job evaluation, salary market research, and data analysis.
• Participating in employee engagement survey administration, analysis and implementation of employee feedback.
• Facilitating Points training program; administer training requests and organizing in house or external programs for employee training needs, conduct in house training sessions as required.
• Identifying best practices and continuous process improvement in the delivery of HR services to our company and make appropriate recommendations within the HR Department.
• Supporting the organization’s performance management program; ensure leaders have all required resources and all employees receive regular employment feedback.
• Assisting with employee relations issues or concerns by providing support and direction to managers dealing with employee challenges.
• Contributing to the growth and development of our HR Analytics and HR systems
• Supporting Points social responsibility programs Points for Good Strategy, organize and drive communication and participation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgement and decision making skills, ability to approach problems from a solution-oriented standpoint with tact and sensitivity.
• Experience implementing best practice HR programs, specifically with performance management, onboarding, and leadership development.
• Effective time management/prioritization skills.
• Ability to build strong internal relationships across the business.
• Passion for customer service.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Progressive HR Generalist experience.
