About the Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our group finance team based in Greenacre, reporting to the Finance Manager you will drive and support our business growth.

Our client is a leading supplier of houseware products in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the UK. They proudly market and distributes a combination of tools, gadgets, cutlery, knives, bakeware and glassware and are on the hunt for a strong willed accounts payable officer to join their team!

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

· Reconciling and processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

· Maintaining records

· Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing payments

· Paying vendors by scheduling payment schedule and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

· Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

· Continuing to improve the payment process

· Cover other duties when staff on leave

· Any other duties from time to time assigned by the reporting manager

Skills and experience (Must be able to clearly demonstrate the following attributes)

· Diploma or Certificate for Accounting, Business or Economics

· 2 years of working experiences

· Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, ERP System)

Salary: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
