Job Description

We are the only Mouldmaking shop in Atlantic Canada and we are looking for another team member to bring their skills to our operation. We are open to candidates with a wide range of experience in the various elements of mouldmaking such as design, machining, EDM, spotting and assembly. Candidates must be able to work autonomously and have a passion for building quality tools.

Required Skills

• Previous experience as a time served Journeyman Toolmaker or Engineer

• Experience with EDM, CNC lathes, mills, grinders, and machining fixtures

• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational and problem solving skills.

• Ability to analyze and work from blueprints and customer drawings.

• Experience with injection molds of single and multi-cavity tools with or without hot runner systems.

• Familiar with the use of measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, etc.

• Computer literate with ability to work in Microsoft Excel programs

• Ability to work within deadlines and understand milestones and bottlenecks.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Upper Kingsclear, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Mouldmaking: 3 years (preferred)
• CNC Machining: 3 years (preferred)
• EDM (RAM and Wire): 3 years (preferred)
• Tool and Die: 5 years (preferred)
