Howard Civil Engineering Hiring for HR & Payroll Coordinator at Leeds Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Producing offer letters, contracts and personnel letters for all staff
• Organising appraisals, back to work interviews, exit interviews and other essential meetings
• Inducting new staff, ensuring all paperwork is correct and recorded
• Manage holiday bookings
• Dealing with all GDPR and data subject access requests
• Guiding the company’s various databases to ensure they are all functioning efficiently
• Organising OH Medical assessments with external companies
• Organising job advertisements and all elements of recruitment
• Collating data from various sources from our wide network of remote sites into one format
• Approving agency and subcontractor timesheets
• Processing all PAYE staff payroll through CIS and Opera (both Weekly & Monthly)
• Sending all pension data through to the relevant provider
• Processing new starters & leavers
• Managing training needs, liaising with managers and training providers
• Monitoring certifications expiring and pro-actively booking relevant training
• Liaising with colleges to ensure apprentices and students are meeting requirements from both the company and training provider
• Dealing with all funding applications

• All other adhoc payroll & HR tasks

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a standalone HR & Payroll role (Essential)
• Previous experience running end to end payroll (Essential)
• Previous experience with Opera & CIS (Preferred)
• Experience with a large volume payroll
• Excellent IT skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Resilient with a positive, optimistic attitude. Must be a team player
• High attention to detail, taking pride in your work
