About The Role
We are looking for a confident and highly organised team player to join our busy HR team. The HR Coordinator will support employees and managers across the whole organisation by leading on the administration of all HR processes. You will be the first point of contact into HR and will build relationships with your internal customers at all levels. As the only HR Coordinator we can promise you a variety of responsibilities and experience across a true generalist role – including recruitment/induction, payroll, H&S, Disclosure & Barring Service Checks, HR statistics, HR systems management, and data protection to name a few.
Some of the key accountabilities will be:
Recruitment administration – including but not limited to organising authorisation, writing adverts, publishing adverts online, leading on all communications with applicants, organising interviews, drafting offers of employment, and processing pre-employment checks.
Liaising with recruitment agencies for temporary recruitment.
Preparing accurate payroll instructions and keeping our HR database up to date at all times.
Coordination of H&S administration – including collation of accident/near miss reporting, review of H&S checks on those who drive as part of their role, and supporting our leading ‘Healthy Minds Healthy Lives’ wellbeing programme.
Coordinating Disclosure & Barring Service checks for new colleagues and renewals for the existing team.
About you
You must have previous administration experience and be motivated by following processes correctly and through to completion. Previous HR administration experience is not essential but would be an advantage, particularly within the recruitment field. The role is extremely varied and no two days will be the same, therefore you must be confident prioritising work in a busy environment. We are looking for someone who will embrace the digital agenda and naturally see opportunities to make improvements, and you will join us at an exciting time as we launch our new HR database.
