Description:
Reporting to Accounts Payable Team Leader we have an exciting permanent opportunity for a pro-active, efficient and well experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Team. We are not only seeking someone who naturally aligns with our culture but is also connected to contributing to improved outcomes for our clients.

You will have highly developed attention to detail, outstanding customer service and communication skills and be willing to go the extra mile to support our clients. Previous extensive experience in an end-to-end accounts payable processing role is essential.

Skills and Experiences:
About You:

• Proven experience in end-to-end Accounts payable function
• Proven experience the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payment of accounts
• Highly experienced in the reconciliation of supplier statements
• Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers
• Preparation of monthly reports and ad-hoc requirements
• Highly experienced in the use of a range of financial packages including Microsoft Office Suite
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
• Highly developed organisational skills
• Solution and outcomes focused
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and relevant regulatory and legislative compliance requirements.
• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Commitment and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPrevious experience processing a high volume of invoices
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Agree and undergo any other employment screening as required by Housing Choices – including but not restricted to Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons and NDIS Worker (this will be as applicable based on the state location and/or function of the role)

• Provide a current driver’s license and willingness to travel across Housing Choices’ locations, if and as required.
