Housing Australia is an independent corporate Commonwealth entity dedicated to improving housing outcomes for more Australians and is responsible for supporting the delivery of 40,000 new social and affordable homes under the Housing Australia Future Fund and National Housing Accord.
Housing Australia provides finance for community housing providers and new housing infrastructure projects through the Affordable Housing Bond Aggregator (AHBA) and National Housing Infrastructure Facility (NHIF). We also support home ownership by administering the Home Guarantee Scheme (HGS). Housing Australia was previously known as the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC).
Our purpose is to improve housing outcomes by helping more Australians to access affordable, safe and secure housing.
About the role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for front office and broader administrative support to the Strategy and Operations team. This includes meeting and greeting visitors, directing calls, and answering general enquiries, managing correspondence, liaising with building management to resolve facilities issues, and other administrative tasks as directed.
This role s directly to the Operations Manager and is also responsible for managing meeting rooms and bookings, providing first level audio-visual support to connect/trouble shoot calls, manage catering as required, and general housekeeping.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety and has previous office admin/corporate front of house experience. You will be the face of the business and will play a supportive role ensuring the office runs smoothy and efficiently.
