My name is Dr. Hugh Gilgoff, and I started Housecalls Tutoring 24 years ago. I am a Pediatrician of 26 years from Mount Sinai Hospital, and long time child advocate. I created and run this specialized mentoring service and we are always looking for more bright energetic experienced compassionate mentors.

We work with all ages and all subjects! We start at 60/hr and give raises quickly. Work as little as 2-3 hours/week, or up to 12-15 hours. Most of our work is subject specific and we meet weekly with the children supporting their school work and doing both skills building and test prep. We work with top students gunning for the best colleges, but also specialize in those who learn differently, and thus need an individualized learning plan as well as a coordinated team approach.

We are doing a lot of virtual mentoring now, but when it feels safe for both parties we are doing masked and distanced in person mentoring as well when both are fully vaccinated.
