Job Description

The HR Associate will provide support to the HR Department in various areas, including recruitment, orientation, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. The HR Associate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This fast-paced role requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Essential Functions

• Support Employee onboarding – Complete Training Agendas
• Conduct new hire orientations
• Maintain employee files on HRIS system – GoCo
• Implement and administer employee policies and promote positive employee relations
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding GoCo, Paycom and any HR Policies and Procedures.
• Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity
• Work towards improving company policies and procedures
• Conduct exit interviews, assist with employee separations, and prepare termination letters or verification of employment as needed
• Provide training and support to other team members of the HR department
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and terminations
• Manage all Staffing agencies for each Distribution Center
• Provide training and support to employees regarding all HR software, such as GoCo and Paycom
• Ensure time and attendance is available to all distribution centers and work through any issues as they may arise
• Maintain Org Chart for the entire organization and global team
• Implement Employee Engagement activities and emails as needed
• Handle and Support all Administrative tasks within the HR department
• Assist with End of Year documentation and annual performance reviews
• Manage career pages such as Linked In, Indeed, and Glass Door

• A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge about conflict management
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and Relationship Management
• Proficiency in software like MS Office and Google Docs
• Ability to multitask

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a degree in a related discipline
• Knowledge about performance evaluations, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, employee motivation, and HR policies is preferred
