House-Hasson Hardware Company Hiring for Sales Director at Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area Full Time

House-Hasson Hardware, a trusted name in the industry for over a century, is actively seeking an experienced Sales Director – Ohio/PA. As a leading wholesale supplier of hardware and building materials, we cater to home centers, building supplies, and hardware stores.

Please note: the ideal candidate must reside in OH or PA. This is not a remote position.

The Sales Director will lead the sales activities for the assigned geographic area through the implementation of our company strategy as well as manage the overall growth of the assigned region, and direct ing responsibility for a team of Territory Managers. The Sales Director will also ensure strategic and tactical alignment with key stakeholders and business partners to grow business profitably.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading a team that generates sales and growth in an assigned geographic area including market penetration with prospects.
• Drive accountability, new opportunity development, customer relations, and customer retention.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to create, execute and measure sales within the assigned market.
• Leverage appropriate strategy to guide team to achieve business growth while focusing on the right opportunities.
• Manage Territory Manager performance metrics including scheduled 1:1 meetings, ride-a-long’s, and annual performance reviews.
• Select, develop, train, and retain diverse sales force.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrate leadership skills to assess, coach, counsel, and develop a sales team.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial ing, to analyze business needs, costs/budgets and economic earnings.
• Possess excellent presentation skills, strong customer focus, and the ability to effectively lead through change.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot and/or other related software.

Education and Experience:

• College or equivalent experience preferred.
• 50% to 75% travel is required with extensive overnights.
• Minimum of 5+ years of sales leadership experience preferred including leading a team of at least 10.
• Hardlines industry knowledge desired.
