Hotel Iroquois is a top rated boutique hotel and fine dining restaurant on Northern Michigan’s Mackinac Island. The Carriage House Restaurants waterfront location serves lunch and dinner overlooking the Lake Huron as well as the Mackinac Island Marina. The Carriage House has been featured in Gourmet magazine and is well known for its fine food, service and superior lakefront setting.

We are currently taking applications for all positions for our summer 2022 season – May through October.

Hotel Iroquois reserves apartment-style housing for their staff. It is located close to the hotel. We recommend bringing a bicycle with a basket and lock for your transportation on the island. There is some opportunity to purchase a bicycle on the island. We also provide a continental breakfast, light lunch, and dinner daily for our staff. There is a nominal fee for room and partial board.

Mackinac Island is rated by National Geographic magazine as one of the top 10 most beautiful Islands. The many acres of natural shoreline and woodlands are enhanced by the fact that there are no cars allowed on the Island. Transportation is limited to walking, bicycling, horseback riding, or horse drawn taxi. If you are a sports enthusiast, this is the place to be. Eighty percent of the island is owned by the state park so there is an abundance of trails for hiking, biking and exploring. Boating, swimming, and fishing are among the many water activities available.
