Act as secretary/treasurer for company: sign checks and reconcile check books, bank statements and credit card statements. Upload payroll files to bank software system for processing. File quarterly and yearly payroll reports including 941, 940 and W-2, W-3, etc. Process travel expense reports. Initiate foreign and domestic wire payments. Process imports from foreign vendors and work with freight forwarders and customs agents. Calculate inventory cost on imported goods. Post entries into general ledger. Print, analyze, and Interpret financial reports. Verify subledger posting into general ledger for accuracy. Work with CPA and review corporate income tax returns. Work through various federal and state audits as needed. File various state B & O tax returns as wells as sales & use tax returns. Submit annual 401 (K) census information for 5500 form filing. Monitor and adjust general insurance and workers compensation coverage limits to ensure adequate coverage. File insurance claims as needed. Project future insurance coverage limits for policy renewal. Work with employees as human resource manager including group insurance enrollment and termination of coverage as needed. Trouble shoot computer system software and hardware as needed. Trouble shoot telephone, internet, and burglar/fire alarm systems as needed. Office management, hiring and firing of office employees. Any other job task required but not listed above.
