Community Education Manager

Horizon Health has an excellent opportunity for a Community Education Manager at our client hospital, Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.

  • This person will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing program for the hospital’s inpatient psychiatric program.
  • The Community Education Manager, in conjunction with the unit’s Program Director, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive community education program.
  • He/she coordinates the referral development/sales process, develops and maintains accurate community education information and account management systems, as well as coordinating the unit’s internal and external communications program.

Requirements:

  • Organized, professional, self directed marketing/sales representative with minimum 2-3 years of direct sales/marketing experience in healthcare. Clinical Experience preferred. Experience in Long Term Care/Geriatrics, and Behavioral Health/Mental Health a plus. Excellent computer skills and ability to work independently required. Proven ability to enhance utilization of hospital services is essential.
  • Bachelors Degree required
