Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops professional relationship with students
  • Assists with classroom duties, activities, etc.
  • Provides teachers organizational support
  • Supervises students on arrival, departure, and during break times
  • Provides teachers support by observing and charting student behavior
  • Provides positive reinforcement
  • Demonstrates ability to work with supervisors and fellow educators in a professional manner

Qualifications and Skills

  • A college degree and teaching or teacher’s aide experience preferred
  • Experience working with special education and/or “at risk” populations is preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient typing and computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
