The Honeywell Software Centre (HSC) Sydney is a global software development centre & design studio for Honeywell. We build automation systems that enable our customers harness the full power of their assets in Life Sciences, specialty chemical and renewable markets. Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to quality systems.

About the Role

Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development of server and visualization software used with Honeywell’s Industrial automation products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform software engineering tasks as part of a team to develop innovations for Honeywell’s market leading mission critical software solutions
• Apply contemporary software development methodologies and tools, such as Agile and Iterative development, across the full development lifecycle
• Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed
• Coaching and helping develop other team members

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• 3-5 years of proven software development experience
• Qualification in Software Engineering or a combined degree in Engineering
• Experience in C/C++, SQL, HTML5/Javascript/CSS3, Design patterns, Debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with analysis, design, coding, testing and support of software
