Use your knowledge of New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world’s most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell’s next generation of aerospace products supporting new products from concept through the start of production, with an emphasis on producibility and cost, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support new and current product engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing processes, and may mentor junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible
Plan, lead and execute new development projects as the focal for all things manufacturing
Driving actions to incorporate improvements from similar-to product yield and escapes, developing product cost analysis, coordinating supplier feedback to the design team, while understanding the program, product, changes, customer, suppliers, design impact on producibility.
Incorporating new manufacturing processes into the design, such as automation and alternate manufacturing techniques
Prepare or update reports and documentation
Utilize analytical tools and theories
Identify, analyze, and resolve issues
Develop new techniques, processes, and analytical tools
