Responsibilities

CNC Programming of three, four and five axis CNC machines, for complex satellite and aerospace components.

Cutting tools selection and design of special cutting tools.

Jigs and fixtures design.

Generate tool lists and set up sheets for smooth transition to production.

Troubleshoot and edit existing programs when problems arise in support of the shift.

Work with minimum supervision in a high paced production environment.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance

Must Have

Grade 12 education and college certificate/diploma for CNC Programming

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in CNC programming

We Value

Priority will be given to CNC programmers with experience in aerospace industry.

Knowledge of SAP

Practical knowledge of Vericut or other simulation software is an asset.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and AS9100 requirements an asset

Excellent knowledge of GD&T

Proficient in of one of the CAD/CAM system, preferable GibbsCAM

Experience with machine shop practices and machine shop environment.
