We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Specialist to join Honeysuckle Health on a 12-month contract.

The role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced professional to join our team as Communications Specialist.

Working directly with both internal and external stakeholders this role is pivotal in delivering Honeysuckle Health marketing and communications plan with a strong focus on email marketing for our Health Service Contracting division.

This role is hands-on and needs someone with a “nothing is too big or too small” mentality. You will be happy to support in the development of strategies and plans, work on new and exciting projects as well as the detailed day-to-day tasks. 

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement all email marketing campaigns using multiple tools including Salesforce and Campaign Monitor.
• Create and implement communication plans for key projects across the business.
• Content creation for a range of marketing materials (flyers, newsletters, social, website) for various audiences.
• Develop and implement our LinkedIn content schedule and advertising campaigns.
• Assist with the evolution and management of the Honeysuckle Health website including editing.
• Work with creative agencies to oversee the design of high-quality marketing collateral.

About you

To be successful in this role you will come from an external communications background. You must be a clear communicator and have exceptional stakeholder management skills.

• 3-5 years’ experience working in communications and public relations and/or marketing.
• Sound knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of content and/or communication plans.
• Email marketing experience, including experience using email marketing software.
• High attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your style of message to suit your audience.
• Strong analytical and ing skills.
• Experience in influencing and working with internal and external stakeholders.
• A self-starter who is a team player and has the maturity to work autonomously.
• Tertiary qualifications in communication, business, marketing or related field.

Although not essential, it would be great if you also had experience with the following:

• Experience writing media releases and working with media agencies. 
• Experience using website CMS.
• Experience with CRM systems. 
• Background in the health insurance or general insurance industry.
