HomeServe USA Hiring for Program Management Office Manager at Norwalk, CT Full Time

Position Overview:

The Project Management Office (PMO) Manager will be responsible for supporting and enabling HomeServe’s projects and programs within HomeServe’s PMO. This position will manage the day-to-day activities of the PMO, provide guidance on PMO policies & process, and collaborate with other department leaders to develop projects & programs. In cooperation with financial and other partners, this role will on the key performance indicators (KPI’s) needed by the leadership team for effective management of IT capital project investments, as well as oversee the management, tracking and ing of budgets and project status across portfolios. Serving as PMO process and tools champion and subject matter expert (SME), this position will document process, procedure and guides that will be utilized for coaching and training to the project management community and stakeholders on PMO processes and tools (Planview PPM Pro, SharePoint, JIRA, Visio, etc.).

This role will communicate, influence, motivate and negotiate both vertically and horizontally within the organization to encourage adoption of those standards and tools. Continually evaluate the PMO processes to identify areas needing improvement and propose to the leadership team action plans to address gaps.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with PMO and project teams working in both Agile & Waterfall project methodologies.
• Act as a SME and provide access, training and support to all employees for PMO tools.
• Assist project managers and stakeholders with administrative and operational assistance for PPM Pro.
• Drive user adoption across the organization through user training and the sharing of best practices.
• Create s and dashboards using Project Management tools as needed by executives, stakeholders and end-user teams.
• Prepare regular communications to stakeholders that highlight and raise awareness of the value being delivered by the PMO.
• Communicate with all levels of management and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Schedule and document PMO project status, portfolio, and prioritization meetings.
• Monthly ing on portfolio key performance indicators; project health and budget status and forecast.
• Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks and resource allocation.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant project standards and regulations by auditing projects; partner with Project Managers to remediate any findings
• Analyze, review, and document current processes and tool functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to define and prioritize projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with Project Management methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, Iterative.
• Proven track record in successful execution of projects with pre-determined timelines – Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and preferred experience with Planview PPM Pro
• Outstanding presentation, communication, writing and facilitation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and able to work and make decisions in a fast-past environment.
• Is aware of, and shows understanding and respect for, other people’s needs and actions. Values individual differences.
• Effective at working directly with senior leadership as well as front-line staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others not under direct supervision.
• Able to juggle priorities and can concentrate on several areas of work at one time.

• Travel as needed.

Salary Range: $84,975 – $113,300

Annual Bonus Potential: 10%
