We are seeking an experienced advisor to join our Medical Education Team. You will be required to support the work of The Medical Education Team. Responsibilities include administrative duties, database administration and teaching programme support. As such this post represents a real opportunity for people wishing to pursue a career in administration or the management of education.

You will be educated to degree level , have good IT skills and be able to work as part of a team. Administrative experience in an education setting and knowledge of medical education would be desirable.

The post holder will be responsible for Undergraduate Education and consultant study leave and cross cover for all other areas. Working within the Medical Education department which is a small team of 3 advisers, one Medical Education Manager and Head of Medical Education. We also work closely with the Simulation and Clinical Skills team who we share an office with.

The role includes providing specialist advise to internal and external stakeholders, liaison and pastoral care for students, problem solving and troubleshooting issues that arise, the coordination of a range of training programmes, delivering inductions, co-ordinating educational meetings, teaching and clinical skills sessions, processing study leave, organising courses and examinations. The post holder will work closely with other members of the Medical Education Team to facilitate, promote and develop the delivery of Medical Education within the Trust.
