Home Instead Hiring for Finance Administrator Job at Witney, England Full Time

Home Instead are a home care service supporting our community to live well at home. We have been caring around the local area for many years and thrive on being able to give a high quality service to our older clients. Our office is based in Witney, and we also work alongside our Swindon branch who are based in Watchfield.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly office team as a Finance Administrator. The role will be to oversee and support our two offices with financial processes to ensure the smooth running of our services.

Main duties of the role:

• Invoicing and payroll administration
• Preparation of payroll data and submitting this to our payroll bureau
• Assist with accounts receivable, credit control and aged-debt management
• Process direct debits
• Process invoices and have contact with suppliers and our clients
• Reconciliation of bank statements and checking calculations and data entries
• Respond to finance queries
• Assist in creating regular financial reports
• Input to how we can improve our processes with cost benefit analysis

Successful candidates will have:

• Proven experience in working in a finance environment/role
• Experience of an accounting package (e.g. Xero, Quickbooks) and the ability to learn Sage 50 Accounts
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• A keen eye for detail, and the ability to work well under pressure
• A team player with the confidence to work alone

Additional Information

We are offering this as a part-time remote/hybrid role with flexibility on timings – ideally Monday to Friday but we are open to discussion. It would suit someone with school hour availability.

The role will involve regular travel to both our Watchfield and Witney offices.
